You know what's much less funny after all these years? People insisting on going out of their way to yuck on everybody's yum.
I mean we probably shouldn't laugh at a song that was about him coping with his father's death.

Nope. I'd agree if the joke was about the content or context of the song, but it isn't.
It's just a silly joke about the title and has nothing to do with anything else.
