Romance books with more relatable male protagonists (lemmy.world)

I've been feeling really lonely lately so I've been trying to find any romance books to distract me.

However, the only books with male heterosexual protagonists I can find are either sports romances or have "alpha male" protagonists.

Are there any books where the main character is nerdier and more relatable?

I don't know where in the world you are so there may not be a similar service for you, but the Brooklyn public library has Book Match. You tell them what you're looking for, and a librarian makes you a list of reading suggestions. I used it once and it was very good.
