Around 3:14, I thought they were about to start a mosh pit. lol
So many questions, though. Do cows respond to any music? Just low-frequencies? Were they just investigating a weird, non-threatening thing? Is that their favorite song? Do the farmers play at feeding time (assuming they supplement their grazing with feedstock)?
Either way, that's cool.
It is thought that many animals inherently respond to sounds their species already emits (ranges). Lots of mammals and birds understand rhythms, but don't think I've read anything specifically about cows.
I can't answer any of your questions, but I hope cows like music. I like to think these cows were like, "whoa, this is cool! I've never heard anything like this before! Hey Sylvia, let's go check this out!"
