Example:
- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. - No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. passed by the skin of the house's teeth
This bill was not passed by the Senate. The Senate is scheduled to begin voting on this bill on Tuesday.
"I don't need a ride, I need ammo." Was perhaps the wisest thing to say to the American people.
Remember "The leader of the party is here. The head of the presidential administration is here, Prime Minister Shmyhal is here, Podolyak is here, the president is here. We are all here, the soldiers are here, the citizens of the country are here."?
I remember going to sleep expecting to wake up in the morning and learn the guy had been killed or captured, and the Russians had taken Kyiv.
Shit was wild. There's a reason the eastern front line hasn't budged, with them outnumbered the whole time and outgunned by 10:1 for as long as it took to finish the first Gulf War.
It’s no surprise they stayed, can you imagine finding an airplane that could carry the balls on those guys?
I wonder if they have the votes for cloture on the inevitable filibuster.
I don't believe that's a problem. Remember, they already passed a bipartisan iteration of these bills. Rand Paul has promised to slow it down, but they'll run him over if they have to.
