Does it mean the end of no subscription professional editing suite or is it a good thing?

I can't see how it could be good... I wasn't even aware Canva has so much money it can buy Affinity. Now this is a bummer

Bet it’s all VC funding. Bet they don’t even make profit. They are just trying to fatten their value by buying other companies to increase their share price at the IPO

It doesn’t look good. Canva is a web based subscription service. It also targets a fairly different market from Affinity.

This could easily end badly for Affinity users. Sad times.

Probably… I sure as hell hope not. This was one of the reasons to ditch adobe.
