The US showed its double standards way back when it passed a law authorising itself to use military force against the international criminal courts if we ever tried to hold an American accountable for war crimes or crimes against humanity.

But yeah I think what's happening right now is a very powerful reminder of that, and isn't being lost on the rest of the world.
