And you could ask for a spoiler free review of an old movie or series or questions about it . Here eveeything like that gets downvoated to hell , doesn't exist or doesn't get much reach . I do wish we could intime have things like that .

Another reason why the episodic format is superior to serialization. At least you're not left hangin' when it's cancelled mid-season.

I reckon the best shows are the ones that are largely episodic with a serialised overarching story. Where you can pick up pretty much any episode and be cool with it, but where watching it all in order provides the best experience and it has a satisfying definitive conclusion.

I do love me some serialized storytelling, but episodic storytelling is interesting too.
