Totally! I think that "learned to learn" thing is key. My art improved at a very gradual pace for years, and only then because I was in a friendship group that also drew a lot, so we inspired each other. What made the big difference for me was going back to school. Actually being taught by an experienced local artist and a qualified art historian completely changed my approach, both to how I draw/paint and how I look at others' work.
So I completely agree that it's possible for everyone and that it's worth it. ❤️
