Just in my observation, people who lean more liberal are more emotionally regulated. If there’s anything to “hate” it’s ideas. Now, as a person I’m wary of conservatives because of those ideas. Whether it’s due to poor judgement or some other reason, if someone embraces social conservative ideas, I cannot tolerate them in my social circle.

I pop into the metalcore and women’s subs and that’s about it. The niche community/shared experience is still a net positive in those two places. I peeked into the main subs once a while ago, and I can’t tell if it’s worse or if it was always that bad. Lemmy is nice. After Reddit though, I have limited overall social media. Feels better, honestly.
There have been a lot of political articles and not much besides.
I had “childhood asthma” and had to carry around an inhaler.
Yeah well he died so I guess he doesn’t wear them any more, lol.
Depending on where you live, it’s absolutely male fashion. My dad wore overalls over a plain flannel almost exclusively.
Climbed for an hour before (messed up and didn’t eat all day) then slammed a couple tacos and half a pitcher of margaritas. Today has…been.
Me grabbing tacos and haha margarita mix and idk what else happened but I did climb for an hour! Ugh..
Maybe infinite growth doesn’t need to be the goal.
Just mentioning this because I see all the others: spicy food. Your brain makes happy chemicals to help with the pain, apparently.
Long ago when I lived in Florida there was a lady who shot her husband for eating the last fried pork chop. I tried to find it online but there are a variety of similar stories and it was before everything was online.
In the past messaging on this has been so poor on this topic. To the point where people don’t even really understand how common a medical abortion is, or that they’re now essentially illegal, risk factors from being denied care due to these laws, etc. They’ve let the gop take the baby killer ball and run with it for years. So now we’ve got a lot of ground to make up educationally…are bare minimum. And I think once we get to that place support will be near universal.
