Do I care what republicans think or do? In this case yes, because they have much more influence in the choices of the US government than the democrats and the choices of the US government have a big on the fate of Ukraine unfortunately. So thank god there's at least one republican standing up against the orange ruler.

TBH, they don't and/or won't stand up to anything that isn't backed by the Party. There is always 1 or 2 hold outs with anything to add 'legitimacy'.

The Democrats have the same, but the Party keeps them in place (doesn't back thier Primary opponents) so they can justify legislation that is unpopular with the mainstream Ds.

Neither party will save America....
