I haven't been able to see upvote counts since the latest update, and I saw a few other people mention the same issue. Is this on the radar to be fixed?

This happened to me on lemm.ee, my account setting to show votes got turned off with the last instance update. Maybe it's the same for you.

That fixed it! Thanks!

App hasn't been updated in months with no contact from the dev. I suggest you download another app. Boost and Apollo are good alternatives.

In about 2 weeks it'll have been a year since the last update.

Honestly not uncommon with the dev, I bought Lemmy sync dev back in 2015, I do think as mentioned in other comments that because of Lemmy moving a bit quicker with changes, that update cadence might bite us in the ass, but so far the app has remained functional for me, aside from not marking some posts as read from certain instances, and being aware to not report DMs.

I have faith an update is coming

I have seen others say this but honestly a full year without an update is quite long. I really like the app but if I pay for it I want to be 100% sure that it remains functional. For now I've cancelled my sub, maybe I'll be back. Who knows.

Yeah you do you, I got away with using sync for 9 years off only a small up front cost. So when I migrated to Lemmy, I did the lifetime sub. Feels like I made up for that time a bit, but on the flipside I'm not too upset if the updates are slow going. I absolutely understand why one would cancel their subscription.
