Thank you so much! That is absolutely genius
Awesome! if you need me to help with the translation I will happily oblige
Oops.. I spoke too early, I actually could use a little help. This is the answer I got:
in den 60er und 70er Jahren hat die Firma Hanika unsere Hausmodelle gebaut. Am ehesten kommt es der aktuellen 50er Serie gleich. Preis damals ca.500-700 DM.
Decke : massive Fichte Zargen & Boden Palisander**
By "50er" I assume he can't mean the fifties because he specified the sixties and seventies. What does this mean?
Yes this is the German way to write the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s: 50er (Fünfziger), 60er (Sechsiger), 70er (Siebziger).
The answer, I think, means that it's an original Hanika design, possibly from the 1950s. in the following decades they then had Hanika build guitars to their specifications.
Doesn't "aktuell" mean they are still being produced in that line? I'm a little confused
Stumbling across this ages later. You're correct to be confused, your guitar is not from the 50s. They are clearly referencing their current model numbers, not the decade.
