That wasn't possible yet? What was the lowest you could go?
I think zero RPM worked before (on cards that supported it) but wasn't directly configurable in Linux.
A dew months ago I built a computer with a 7600XT, I think a Sapphire, and indeed the fan would not turn on for light tasks
I wonder if zero RPM is supported for Nvidia cards as well
