Microsoft Finland itself commented on the use of Windows 95 (https://archive.is/7md8S, in Finnish):
"It's fun and great, what else can I say! The performance was absolutely hilarious and we are very happy about it", Pekka Isosomppi, Director of Communications at Microsoft Oy, commented to Iltalehti on Monday morning.
"Windows 95 is cultural history. You can treat it like old memories. The artist communicates the ethos of the 90s in a retro way and does it in a really funny way", says Isosomppi. The communications director makes a comparison.
"This is a product that has been dead for quite some time. If you were driving a car from the '50s in a stage show, would you ask Ford if it could be there? The '50s car is part of that era and a symbol of that era โ in the same way that Windows 95 is a symbol of the '90s", he argues.
