While I hope they don’t go TOO serious BL3’s tired ass humor kept me from making it off the first planet. Hopefully I got the wrong impression because as long as they dial the cheese down that could be a day one buy for me.
The game definitely has its “the devs were overworked and underpaid and as a result this comes off as soul-less” and “genuinely what the fuck were they thinking” parts— which, is unfortunately more than the parts you can see were made with love— but i’d say it’s definitely worth playing through at least once. The Handsome Jackpot DLC is a great example of them putting their everything into it, but most of the other DLCs are, uh… Not too great in that regard.
