The only way this story makes sense is if it occurred in the south, where they have club Applebee's. Otherwise, I have a lot of questions about how this would even occur.
I'm sure this is possible, any specific reason you think this couldn't happen at a normal Applebee's in the northern US?
I didn't say it couldn't, just that it is improbable for myriad reasons. Not many beverage druggings occurring in well lit, highly staffed, low customer restaurants. Unless the drugger was in this person's group, it would be pretty unusual.

Isn't that a pretty common thing, where a woman is drugged by a man she is actively on a 1 on 1 date with?
The logistics of a stranger kidnapping a roofied victim seems much more complicated if they didn't show up together.
Yes, my understanding it's it usually isn't at restaurants, however. That's all I was pointing out. This Applebee's "joke" was just bizarre.
