I use VSCodium and other then bulk comment / uncomment and renaming I'm not sure what you're talking about.
I'd love some examples to help improve.

Sublime Text is a bit more powerful in that regard (and also more performant with very large files) which is why I still keep it installed even though I switched to VSCode long time ago. I guess Vim can do even more but I canβt get myself to learn it well.
You can use regex in vim
