It appears near the end of the Wonder Showzen opening, before that Hindenburg disaster clip. It looks like it was recorded somewhere in either Africa or the Caribbean. Does anyone have any idea of the context behind this?

Israel had a long history of friendship and cooperation with apartheid South Africa, and in addition to supplying millions of dollars worth of weapons to help violently suppress the country’s Black majority population, it also provided nuclear weapons materials and offered to sell the racist regime nuclear warheads to keep it in power. In return, Israel received uranium from South Africa to develop its weapons.

Analysts of Russia differ about many things, but the most important difference concerns their interpretation of the roots of Russia’s ongoing aggression. One side argues that Russian history and political culture are to blame — or, to put it more simply, uniquely Russian characteristics are the cause of Russian aggression. The other side argues that the causes are not uniquely Russian, but typical of the behavior of certain kinds of states, regimes, societies and leaders.

Unsurprisingly, historians of Russia and Ukraine tend to fall into the first camp, while political scientists with a comparative bent tend to fall into the second camp. Equally unsurprisingly, the first camp sees no easy solutions to Russia’s current behavior, precisely because it’s just a continuation of an age-old pattern of Russian behavior inspired by the inalterable Russian soul.

He goes from the reporter forcing him a loaded question to the reporter giving him free air time.
I feel there is a change in the power dynamic but I cannot work out what exactly plays off here.
But I think what he does is usually used as a haggling tactic. I wonder where he learnt how to do this.
