There's a lot of pressure for better performing works right now, money is tight as hell, and amc is honestly known for surprisingly great works like breaking bad.

Cancel one and steer the money towards something that will be a more likely winner, it's easier to sell to the board. You're both tightening your belt and increasing quality.
