The other is a shitpost targeted to fuck with a particular community, in a manner that's intentionally provocative; Mockery and Amusement, and ironically, trollishly poor quality and absurd, exaggeration, etc.

The judgment from the mods should be enough for you. Their judgment very clearly makes it evident that they didn't remove it because it broke rules or wasn't a shitpost, but because people were spamming them.
