I keep wanting to learn Dvorak but I'm just already so fast and accurate with QWERTY.

Not surprising Schneider would have Drakes back. Drake was his cash cow. This occurred between the Amanda Show and Drake and Josh, and Peck got arrested during the latter's run. Bell was Schneider's bottom bitch, Peck overstepped.

Now that I know what I've read, I wouldn't be surprised if Schneider is the left, but he still gives me some vibes.

Fracking is used for oil and for natural gas. And it absolutely pollutes local water supplies, aside from also using a shit ton of water, causing tremors, and wrecking wildlife habitats.

If there's one benefit for it, it's that it improves energy independence because it allows us to tap more difficult wells cost-effectively.

But that's a bit of a stretch, because divesting away from fossil fuels also improves energy independence.

Maybe try typing the word you're talking about into Google before speaking so confidently out of your ass. What are you, Ace Ventura?

There's at least one sexual joke in Avatar, when Sokka is "expecting" Suki to come to his tent and Zuko comes instead.

But yeah probably not bodyguards, and afaict far from retiring. Last I had heard they are trying to massively expand the Avatar universe, after walking away from Netflix for creative differences.

I was really just trying to think of the best and worst creators from Nickelodeon.

I think left is Bryke (Bryan Konietzko and Michael DeMartino), the creators of Avatar the Last Airbender.

Right is probably that foot guy. Dan Schneider. I don't know if he's a pedo or not, but he's certainly a bit creepy.

Oh man. "I saw it on TV!". Exact same intonation my 4yo used when he saw a "trailer" for Mario Movie 2 when actually it was just some junk a highschool kid threw together in iMovie. Totally belief and innocent ignorance.

It's at that moment I realized that Trump isn't just a useful idiot. He's the perfect useful idiot.

Like a part of me thinks that Trump might actually believe in Santa and that he looks an awful lot like that guy in the power tool show and sounds an awful lot like Buzz Lightyear.

Instructions unclear. I'm going to the moon on Delta IX.

(Edit: my dumbass just realized it's ∆V, as in velocity. I thought Delta 5 was the name of a type of chemical propellant. Though now that I think of it, it really should be. Damn, and I work for a space company too. At least I'm just in IT).

To that I would say society is failing them either further.

How much does it cost to criminalize homelessness? Between enforcement, jailing, feeding, clothing, trials, lawyers, DAs, etc. It's a fucking fortune.

Why do we go right to the stick, when the carrot is cheaper and more humane? Why aren't we helping them instead of spending more money to strip away whatever shreds of dignity they have left?

God forbid we help people down on their luck. Much better for us to exert even more effort and capital to dehumanize them. Surely that'll keep everyone from choosing a vagrant lifestyle and make them pull themselves up by their bootstraps.

I'd think that if society fucked me over enough to the point that I had to sleep on her streets, I'd proudly violate all the rules too.

You expect people to respect the institution that bent them over until they broke? Fuck that.

Respect is reciprocal. I'll give it at first but if it's obvious I'm not getting any back, then there's no sense in continuing to give it.

If the Green Party really wanted to do something other than bolster spoiler candidates, they'd be spending their funds on lobbying, instead of trying to just grab one office at the top of the chain out of literally nowhere.

Sure, but Trump is a totally different tier of liar.

Most politicians "lie" through omission. They'll tell the truth, just not the parts that make them or their friends look bad. That and overly ambitious campaign promises...but I generally look past that because they should really be called "campaign goals", and the "stretch goals" should be easily identified by anyone with two braincells to rub together.

Trump just puts out straight up objective falsehoods and rattles them off with a straight face.

SPAM is underappreciated.

I remember a long time ago as a fat kid on keto, eating spam right out of the can with a spoon. This is not the recommended way to serve.

But, grilled, either on a sandwich or as part of a breakfast plate? Chef's kiss.

While $1m USD in 1988 is worth only $2.6m in 2024, if they just put it in the S&P 500 back then and left it there, it'd be worth over $44.6m today.

I don't know if the Dijon ketchup is really worth it.
